How get to the city center from Malpensa Airport
At the Airport of Milano Malpensa there are different public transportation options that make connections to the city center by train, bus, private rental service car with driver (NCC) or cab.
The cheapest way to go is taking the train, but only if you are traveling alone or with a small group of people and without an heavy luggage; if instead you are traveling with a group of 7-8 people it is better to take a transfer with a cab or a Minivan NCC because each train ticket costs you 13 Euros.
Taking the bus is another cheap way to go to the city center if you are not in a rush because the ticket is only 10 Euros, but as the train, it will take you to “Stazione Centrale” and then you will have to take a cab or another kind of transportation to get to the hotel.
Getting to the city center by rental car would be another convenient possibility, but as other Italian cities there are some limited traffic areas controlled by cameras… and if you do not know the right streets, it will be easy to get some fines even if you are following the GPS. (Every fine for each violation will cost you 88 Euros).
Transfer Service
The town of Milan has established a fixed rate for Taxi only, which is 95 Euros from Malpensa Airport to any street in Milan and vice versa. This fixed rate, to be applied, must leave the possibility to the driver to choose the way (it would not be the fastest one). Any change of mind during your ride cancels the fixed rate and you will have to pay according to the taximeter.
To avoid any surprises concerning the price, it is better to opt for the fixed rate transfer by NCC cars (Private Rental Service Car – Noleggio auto Con Conducente).
A NCC driver, who also speaks foreign languages, will be at the airport waiting for you. You will pay the agreed price for a better car, faster service and he will make sure to bring you to the hotel in a relaxed manner. Ask me your quote right now and you will realize that the prices are similar to those of a taxi.

Does any UBER service exist in Italy?
UBER service in Italy is limited to the cities of Milan and Rome only. The famous “app” is still the source of many discussions between taxi drivers and it is not legally recognized by the Italian law.
Our suggestion is not to use this app to avoid bad situations, moreover the service offered is not even cheaper than the other written above.
