Located in the Swiss Alps, with 350 kilometers of ski slopes and a scenic landscape, Saint Moritz is one of the most famous holiday resorts in Europe, ideal for winter sports lovers and tourists in general.
Saint Moritz has just over 5,000 inhabitants and extends over an area of 28 square kilometers. The alpine destination is well known worldwide for its low temperatures, a lot of snow and the sun shines for most of the year, making it ideal for winter sports. The luxurious metropolis is also famous for having several art galleries, museums, star-rated restaurants, grand hotels and the most famous designer shops in the world. The official language is German, and the second most spoken language is Italian. In terms of tourism, English is predominant.
Another highlight is the famous St. Moritz Lake, which is frozen during winter and provides spectacular views. If you choose to wander around the city in the winter and have always wanted to walk on a frozen lake, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity!
