Milan: our capital of fashion and design
The city of Milan could be one of the best start-points to begin your trip, even if that means to stay over for a weekend or a couple of days only. This city is the second largest city in Italy (more than 1.5 million people and it is considered to be the economic capital of our country.
People from all over the world know Milan as the glamourous capital of fashion and design: luxury shops and large business entrerprises give the city the possibility to be one of the most visited destinations in Italy.
Discover Milan
Going shopping is, without doubt, the main activity in this city… but Milan is not only famous for that reason. There are many monuments and museums that are waiting to be discovered during your trip.
Milan means two things: benefits and comfort. Benefits because it is a big city, but at the same time comfort because the major attractions are close to each other and within short walking distance.
The city has a high cultural heritage and it offers monuments, museums, one of the most famous theaters in the world, musical culture and why not, culinary art (Torta di Natale and Panettone are the best known…).
While… if you are a lover of nature and you would like spending some time far away from the “city stress”, you can always enjoy the lakes close by and all the surrounding landscapes.

Best period to travel
Considering the weather, the best period to travel in Italy is from April to November.
Traveling in the Spring season (from March to June) is always a good idea: nature is full of colors, flowers perfume is in the air and temperatures are between 15 and 25 degrees Celcius.
Summer season starts on June 21st and it goes until the middle of September. Temperatures go from 20 to 32 degrees Celcius and especially in July, it can reach 37 degrees Celcius.
In the Fall season temperatures are similar to the Spring ones: from 15 to 25 degrees Celcius as well.
There may be rainy days during the months of April, May or November.
